AAA Safety Poster Contest Winners

This year Art students were again entered in the AAA Saftey Poster Contest. Schools from all over the nation entered safety posters first at the state level and then the winners compete in a national contest. Tree once again saw students win cash awards at both levels.

Our winners this year were:

  • Emily Durbin (11th grade) won 1st place locally in the high school digital enhanced category and received $100.
  • Sydney Grubb (8th grade) won 1st place locally in the 5th to 8th grade competition and received $100 then went on to win $25 for her National Merit Award.
  • Summer Owens (8th grade) won 2nd place locally in the 5th to 8th grade division winning $75 and nationally won $200 for placing Second in the Nation.
  • Jalisa Howard (8th grade) won 3rd place in local competiton and won $50.

Music Man Tickets on Sale NOW!

Tree of Life Christian Schools will present The Music Man on April 29, 30 and May 1 at 7 p.m. in the Northridge Auditorium. Tickets are available at the high school front office for $7 adult and $5 student. More than 40 students are involved in the production, including cast and crew, and a few elementary students recruited as members of Professor Harold Hill’s River City boys band! Kate Breading stars in the role of Marian the Librarian, and Josias Rodriguez is the traveling salesman, Professor Harold Hill.
