JV Season Schedule
Head Coach - Bryan Troast
Varsity Boys’ soccer head coach Bryan Troast enters his second year of coaching at Tree of life. He coached boys’ soccer for three years at Grand Rapids Christian Schools in Grand Rapids, MI and two years of girls’ soccer at Eastern Christian School in North Haledon, NJ. While at Eastern Christian he was the assistant coach for the school’s first state championship. He is married to his wife Brittany who is a teacher at Bloom-Carroll. He is originally from north New Jersey and he received a bachelor degree in Recreation-youth leadership from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI. He has currently returned to school at Ohio State to attain a second bachelor degree and teaching license for Physical Education and currently resides in Gahanna.
JV Coach - James Ruark
Coach Ruark is entering his first year of coaching as the Boys’ JV/Varsity assistant coach. He attended Tree of Life from preschool through his whole high school career and played soccer from 8th -12th grade. He just completed his Bachelors Degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and is very excited to coach young men and help them grow both on and off the soccer field.
