Boys match vs Grove City Christian for 9/10 has been rescheduled to Monday 9/14 at Champions 4:15pm
The match vs Grove City Christian on 9/5/09 is cancelled.
We have 4 girls to make a Girls team, and are looking for at least 1 or 2 more. Please contact Athletic Department at 784-1937 or Coach Holahan at 614-478-0850.
Practices for the 2009 Fall Golf Season will generally be on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays at Champions Golf Course from 3:20-5:45pm except when noted and when we have matches. There is a scheduled match on Saturday, August 22nd and September 26th, but we will generally not practice on Saturdays. We may practice at Walnut Hill GC as our schedule permits.
Essential Items to have in your golf bag: 1) Umbrella 2) 14 Golf clubs (if you need some let me know. TOL has some for borrowing if necessary) 3) towels 4) tees & golf balls 5) comfortable golf shoes (no metal spikes); Highly Recommend Items: 1) lessons for your child through either clinic or professional 1-on-1 lessons. 2) lots of practice during summer 3) call me if you have any questions!! ;-)

DIII District Tournament at Cumberland Trail GC - 18 holes:
Congratulations to Freshman Mark David Wright for his best score of the year, an awesome 76, at Cumberland Trail GC. His score qualified him for an individual spot the OHSAA State Golf Tournament at OSU Scarlet on 10/16 & 10/17. This is the first TOLCS golfer since at least 1996 to qualify for a State Golf event!! What a great accomplishment for TOLCS and MOCAL, which also had 2 golfers from Fairfield Christian Academy to qualify for the State Tournament!

DIII Sectional Tournament at Darby Creek GC - 18 hole scores:
TOLCS finished the season by finishing 7th out of 12 teams, and was led by Mark David Wright who shot 86 in windy, cold conditions. Mark David qualified for the District Tournament to be held on 10/6/09 at Cumberland Trail GC. Freshman Joe Paliobagis came in with a strong showing as well shooting near his average when the entire field was approximately 10 strokes higher than normal. Great job, Mark David and Joe!

The Lady Trojans Golf team played a seasoned, veteran team from Jonathan Alder were our freshman Lindsay Augustyniak scored a 56. Our newest golfer Natalie Kells improved her score from the previous match by 14 stokes allowing our team to improve by their position against a school that has had a girls program for ten plus years.
