Yesterday the middle school competed in the Millersport Middle School Invitational. In the girls 100m and 200m Tai Dawkins came in 1st and Marcella Longs came in 2nd. Also in the 200m Kierra Sanders came in 3rd. For the boys 100m Christian Dailey came in 2nd. In the 200m Aaron Russell came in 3rd. IN the 400m Walter Woodard came in 3rd. In the 4x100 and 4x200 Tree came in 1st.

On April 6th the track team participated in thier first ever teack meet at the Worthinton Christian Triangular Meet. The girls placed 1st overall and the boys placed 3rd. The girls came in first in the 4x100m and 4x200m. Tai Dawkins came in 2nd in the 100m and 1st in the 200m. Marcella Longs came in 3rd in the 100m and 200m. Christian Dailey placed 2nd in the 100m and 200m. Aaron Russell came in 2nd in the 100m and 1st in the 200m. Walter Woodard came in 2nd in the 1600m.

Yesterday the middle schoolers went to their first relay at Columbus Academy against 5 other teams. The girls came in first in the 4x100 and 4x200. The boys came in second in the 4x100 and third in the 4x200. Summer Owens and Terrance Liggins came away with personal bests in the 800M and in the shot put Myles McNeal had his personal best.

The middle school girls and boys started off their season at the Worthington Christian invitational. The girls won first place overall and the boys won third. Marcella Longs, Jalissa Howard, Kierra Sanders, and Tai Dawkins made up the relay team that won both the 4x100 and the 4x200. Christian Daley got 1st place in the 100m and 2nd in the 200m, Aaron Russell got 2nd in the 100m and 1st in the 200m, and Walter Woodard got 2nd in the 1600m. Tai Dawkins got 2nd in the 100m and 1st in the 200m while Marcella Longs got 3rd in the 100m and 3rd in the 200m. The team did great in their first meet ever in TOL history and we are all very encouraged that we will have a great season!
