Elementary Chapel
While every class has the opportunity to study God’s Word and practice the spiritual disciplines of praying, reading the Bible, journaling, quiet reflection and encouraging one another, the time spent in corporate worship in chapel gives them another opportunity to grow spiritually. Elementary students at both the Dublin and Indianola branches meet twice a month for chapel, with preschool and kindergarten joining the other grades for at least one chapel per month.

Our worship time includes praising God through songs, sharing, prayer and a devotional lesson related to the school’s theme verses for the year, or a relevant topic for the season. Our desire is to teach our students to love God with all their heart, soul and mind, and to know His Son, Jesus, recognizing Him as Christ their only Savior. Many of our students would say that this is one of their favorite experiences at school. In the words of one our second graders, “I am so glad it’s chapel today – I just love to worship God.” We want them to understand that this worship is carried outside of chapel as they live their life in a manner that is pleasing to the Lord.
